EnerWisely is the first energy management platform in Texas to adopt DataGuard, the US Department of Energy Data Privacy standard.

Being DataGuard certified means that EnerWisely is following the principles and guidelines established by the Energy Data Privacy Program. Consequently, our customers know that EnerWisely protects and treats their energy data responsibly. EnerWisely never sell your data and only shares it at your request for the purpose of fulfilling your service orders. With EnerWisely you are the boss of your account. Ultimately, you can also delete your account and all your personally identifiable information at any point.

We encrypt private information and continuously monitor to protect customer data. EnerWisely by Quantum New Energy is registered with the Texas Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas.

Anybody that provides energy advice in Texas must be registered as a Broker with the PUC. Customers ultimately depend on the broker’s energy expertise and advice, so Texas’ state legislature now requires registration with the PUC in order to fortify consumer protection.

EnerWisely`s parent company, Quantum New Energy, is registered with Smart Meter Texas as an approved third party.

Smart Meter Texas is a portal that allows customers with smart meters access to their electric consumption data, and the interface with retail electric providers for billing purposes
As owner of your meter data, you have the option to authorize Quantum New Energy (EnerWisely Parent company) to access your Smart Meter data for use in providing personalized energy intelligence services including Energy FingerPrint and Energy MatchMaker. We do not share your individual meter data with third parties.
