TDU/TSDPs stands for Transmission Distribution Utility or Transmission Service Distribution Provider. As an energy and utility company, your local TDU is responsible for the power lines in your area, as well as the maintenance during emergencies, such as a power outage.

CenterPoint Delivery Charges

The charges incurred for these services are set by the Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT). All these charges are passed down by the Retail Electricity Provider (REP) to its customers, not levied directly by CenterPoint to its customers. Occasionally these charges are passed down separately in bills or bundled together with additional costs.
