Certifications

We are the first company in Texas to adopt DataGuard, the US Department of Energy Data Privacy certification.

Being DataGuard certified means that EnerWisely is following the principles and guidelines established by the DataGuard Energy Data Privacy Program so our customers know that their energy data is being protected and treated responsibly. We don’t sell your data and only share your information at your request for the purpose of fulfilling your service orders. You can also delete your account and all your personally identifiable information at any point in time if you wish to do so.

The Norton cyber-security seal retains the highest level of recognition and trust among privacy-minded customers.

A Cyber Security certification indicates that EnerWisely has taken all the steps necessary to ensure the maximum security grade. We encrypt private information and continuously monitor to protect customer data. EnerWisely applies the same industrial-grade cyber security standards and uses the same security grade as companies like AT&T.

Registrations

EnerWisely by Quantum New Energy is registered with the Texas Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas.

Anybody that provides energy advice in Texas must be registered as a Broker with the PUC. Customers ultimately depend on the broker’s energy expertise and advice, so Texas’ state legislature now requires registration with the PUC in order to fortify consumer protection.

EnerWisely`s parent company, Quantum New Energy, is registered with Smart Meter Texas as an approved third party.

Smart Meter Texas is a portal that allows customers with smart meters access to their electric consumption data, and the interface with retail electric providers for billing purposes
As owner of your meter data, you have the option to authorize Quantum New Energy (EnerWisely Parent company) to access your Smart Meter data for use in providing personalized energy intelligence services including Energy FingerPrint and Energy MatchMaker. We do not share your individual meter data with third parties.

Memberships

We are happy to support TEPRI`s work to overcome Energy Poverty in Texas.

We believe in TEPRI’s mission to reduce the energy burden and inspire lasting energy solutions for all kinds of communities. The bottom line is that we at EnerWisely do not want anyone to get left behind.

The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is the leading advocate for the economic and civic interests of the Hispanic community.

Sadly, energy poverty tends to affect minorities, and we’re here to change that by making EnerWisely easily accessible to everyone. EnerWisely is also the first personalized energy intelligence platform that exists in both English and Spanish.

The Green Button Alliance is the standard protocol for energy data and is something that we are proud to be a part of, as we will soon be expanding nationwide and beyond.

Our membership supports our desire for consumers to be aware of their energy usage and to have full control over it. The Green Button Alliance provides electricity customers with easy access to their energy data, and as a result, they can make smarter energy choices.
